When koi develop bacterial ulcers, water-borne antibiotics alone often fail because the bacteria are deep in the bloodstream. Koi Fix For Food is a kanamycin-based powder that binds to commercial koi pellets so the fish ingest the antibiotic directly.
Dosage and administration
Mix 1 tsp per 1 lb of koi pellets, bound with a small amount of fish oil or gelatin. Feed exclusively for 10–14 days. Stop feeding once the fish refuse — switch to Koi Fix For Water.
Active ingredients
Kanamycin sulfate, oxytetracycline, vitamin C, immunostimulant complex.
Warnings & precautions
Stop treatment if fish refuse food for more than 24 hours. Will turn the pond water slightly yellow — harmless. Withdraw 21 days before any fish consumption.
