The classic broad-spectrum treatment for the most common parasitic and fungal infections in freshwater. Particularly effective against the trophont stage of *Ichthyophthirius multifiliis* (ich) and external fungal infections.
Dosage and administration
1 mL per 10 gallons every 48 hours for 10–14 days. 25% water change before each redose. Raise temperature to 28 °C to accelerate parasite life cycles where appropriate.
Active ingredients
Formaldehyde (37%), zinc-free malachite green.
Warnings & precautions
Do not use with scaleless fish or invertebrates. Reduce dose by 50% for tetras and rasboras. Highly toxic to plants at full dose. Use gloves — formaldehyde is a known carcinogen.
